TGIF!
Any big plans for the weekend? My handyman is (supposedly) coming by this weekend to take care of some odds and ends around the house. My contribution will be to pick up some fall flowers at a nursery, and replant some of the pots and planters around the house.
Above is a photo of Hanna from a few years ago . . . that aloe vera plant in the corner is about double that size now . . . . oh, and Hanna is about 10 lbs. lighter, thanks to her homemade dog food diet.

Hanna is cute as always.
I have a case of the blahs lately. This weekend will probably not change things.
pru - the blahs are definitely going around these days . . .
BTW - I was perusing some available audio books on audible.com and found one where the narrator was named - you got it - Prunella
weekend, I have an all day meeting tomorrow :(
Boring weekend. Probably going to catch up on some homework and assignments.
I wish I still had warm weather to have plants. Not that I have plants to begin with, but I wish it was warm enough for the idea of plants.
*sigh*
No more outdoor containers with flowers until next spring here.
But daughter and I are going to a seasonal container workshop next Sat. where we will learn how to create a distinctive and festive arrangement for the holiday season.
Should be fun!
I spent about 4 hours last night cooking pork, potatoes and vegetables for Maggie and Teddy. Their allergies are SO bad right now. Dom thinks it might be their regular dog food, so he wants to do the home-cooking thing again. I don't think it's the dog food - it's a super low-allergen food - but I'll try anything!
The river had a very small scale of ice this morning. Just a thumbprint. Enough to let me know winter is coming.
Oh, Hanna! You're like a pin-up for Wally!
Seriously Diane, the blahs are going around. I think it could be a virus. I have to get up at 5:00am and run 20 miles. it is now 12am and I am still up.
back from knitting camp early - with an injury.
