Happy story for Monday . . .
The girls and I were out for our morning walk, and met a nice lady and her beautiful white, fluffy dog - a husky, chow mix. The gal mentioned that yesterday was the one year anniversary of when she had adopted her dog - a Hurricane Katrina rescue pooch. The dog was found a month after the storm, atop a roof - skinny and bedraggled. Well, a year later, she is healthy and gorgeous . . . so here's a shout out to all the good people who have worked hard to help the animals (and people!) of New Orleans get back on their paws and feet.

That is a happy story, and how very nice of all those folks who saved lost pets.
Awww! I just love animals and huskies are my favorite.
Huskies are so pretty! Sounds like she got a good home after some tough times.
That is a great story! :)
What a great story!
Yeah, and a super hats-off to all the people that went down there and combed through the wreckage to save all those pets!!
