This is my mirror . . . .
And this is where it hung on the wall above the sofa, before it fell apart and NEARLY KILLED NOODLES AND ME!
Ok, "nearly killed" is an exaggeration, but it was pretty scary, and it is very big and heavy. Fortunately, I heard it start to crack, and it fell down to the back of the couch before it fell forward, and I caught it. . . .

HOLY CRAP! Does that really count as seven years bad luck? I am guessing not. Glad you are okay!
Wow, way to put those cat-like reflexes to good use.
Seriously, glad to hear no one was hurt. That mirror is large.
Now, how about a nice, small framed photograph to replace it.
ryan - since the glass didn't break, I'm going with no bad luck . . . if I get on a bad streak though, I'll go visit the local psychic . . .
v - it lasted up there for 12 years, but I'm thinking nice, soft tapestry up there now . . .
Ooooh. Yikes. That must have freaked you both out. Glad you both came out unscathed.
OMG! That actually could have been seriously a terrible situation. Thankfully it didn't shatter!
Holy Cow! I'm so glad no one was hurt. This is why I won't hang anything above my bed. I always picture it crashing down on my head while sleeping.
just toss a little salt over your shoulder--isn't that suppose to bring good luck. But it seems you've had some good luck in that you have no knot or cuts on your head from a falling mirror. I'm glad it didn't break.
Scary. Glad to hear you and Noddles are safe.
SHIT ON A STICK! That's crazy! As long as no one was hurt, then it's not so bad. Good thing your Spidey senses were tingling!
Good thing you heard it... it looks like an old, heavy one.
