Well Diane, it looks mammoth, but I don't see any hot springs in this picture! Make sure to bundle up. Losing toes wouldn't make for a fun vacation.
You're going with a nature group, right?
It looks beautiful but cold as hell.
They say to bring swimsuits in addition to thermal everythings for the hot springs! I have lots of cold weather stuff and heat packs for my feet and hands . . .
there are some wonderful hot springs not from Mammonth--enjoy, I'm envious, there's nothing better than soaking in a natural hot spring with snow falling.
how awesome!! it's covered in snow! will the buffalo be roaming???
Looks like it will quite scenic! I like the hot springs idea.
While you travel to a colder locale, I can't help but imagine what you'll be leaving. It's about twelve degrees outside here.
Very nice. I've never been to Mammoth. I'm jealous. Hot springs sound like the perfect fix for my bad back.
I've been to Yosemite but never Yellowstone. Looks like fun. Stay warm!
I think it looks gorgeous! Is your time unstructured or do they have activities planned?
la - a little bit of both - there are planned excursions most days
Yup, looks majestic and picturesque. I too am envious. Have a wonderful vacay. And bring us back a good deal of stellar photos.
