The tumor-specialist veterinarian was very optimistic about Hanna, and as a result, we're taking her in for more surgery tomorrow. The Vet wants to clean out some additional tissue in the area, including the adjacent lymph node. While I don't want to keep cutting the poor dog up, given the Vet's optimistic prognosis, we're going forward with the surgery. She'll stay at the hospital for a couple of days, so that they can keep her properly doped up and comfortable.
While we all feel empathy for Hanna, it may be Samantha Jane Noodles who is suffering the most through all this. I left her with my brother yesterday while Hanna and I went to the Vet's, and she was DEVASTATED by being so cruelly left behind. When we returned about 3 hours later she was greatly relieved and ecstatic to have her big sister back at home with her.
And my community service for the day, is to share the best Carrot Cake Recipe - ever. Super moist, and really, really good. If you like carrot cake, so give it a try!
And for anyone who watches Mad Men - Peggy's sister sucks for ratting her out to the priest, and I'm glad Betty isn't my mom!

Wow, that is very hopeful news for Hanna and I hope it only gets better for her. Poor Samantha, I was wondering how your other doggie was doing with all of this. Give her lots of treats too, she needs them also!
