The weather was really pretty good. The temperature varied from about 10 - 11 degrees to the mid-20s. As you can see, it's not exactly bikini weather . . .
This is the Lamar Valley - home of the Druid Pack - and sometimes referred to as the Serengeti of North America because of the diverse wildlife present there.

Now that's a winter wonderland. Glad to see you're all bundled up, I'm sure the cold didn't get to you, or did it? I bet I could cope with the mid-20s no sweat. Okay, maybe not.
Seriously, these photos are amazing.
Looks like all your knitting came in handy with the weather you had to contend with!
It looks cold, but blue skies and the shining sun are a good sign. Were you warm enough? Love the matching hat/scarf combo... homemade, I'm certain!
The knitting did come in handy! the Parrot sweater, and the matching scarf and hat were a big hit, and also, very warm. I did generally stay pretty warm - just a little occasional chill to the toes and fingers - though it did get a bit biting when the wind came up. I ended up wearing a heavy glove on my left hand and a lighter glove on my right so I could work the camera and binocs - the heat pack hand and toe warmers were key too!
What a great photo.
You are too hot for words. I can see the snow melting before your feet.
The hat and scarf is the perfect finishing touch:)
