Sometimes when I have to hit the road early in the morning, I treat myself to a Sausage McMuffin with Egg, and today, after an early morning trip to Van Nuys, was one of those mornings. Why does something so bad for you have to taste so good? And because I didn't want the extra grease of a hash brown patty, (and so declined the "meal" option), it actually cost me more money.

My guilty pleasure is the sausage biscuit with cheese. Tastes sooooo good, but my stomach pays for it later. :(

I like the McGriddle because of the maple syrup in the "bun."

I'm not a fan of their breakfasts, but maybe twice a year I will scarf down a Big Mac.

Of course 20 minutes later I feel like I ate a brick.

I love their breakfast menu, but will not eat their for lunch and dinner. Why is it when you buy two McMuffin's it is cheaper than buying just one single sandwich? Something to ponder.

ryan - I just read where they are going to add gyms to some restaurants, and I thought just what you are saying - it would have been cheaper for me today to buy more food, fat and calories - that is where they need to change the marketing - not adding a "gym" to a mickey d's for the publicity

that said - the sausage egg mcmuffin was mighty good!

Um, people. McDonald's, and other fast food establishments, sells very unhealthy food. Most of their items have Trans Fat. Trans Fat is very bad. Very bad.

So the moral of the story is, no McMuffins, no McDonald's, no fast food.

Ummmkay?

Did you know your brain needs fats to maintain your moods? That's why so many people get depressed after going on low fat diets. So don't feel guilty. :)

I too fall victim to the McMuffin's charms.

McDonalds food used to gross me out for the longest time that is until I tried the McGriddle. How could something so little have so many calories?

If it feels good its naughty, if it taste good it is unhealthy and if it looks to good to be true....it is. That is why god is the greatest prankster ever lol.
