I like the beach in winter--with few people around--I grew up near the ocean in NC and enjoy visiting even though I don't think I could live there again.
Sage - winter is the best time at the beach.
I bet that water is cold! To me the Pacific is freezing even on the hottest days.
My jealousy monster is rearing it's ugly head.
Hey, want to do a home swap like in that movie with Kate Winslet and Cameron Diaz? I'll take care of Nanners and Noodles in California if you take care of the parents up here. They're pretty maintence free beings. They can feed themselves; put themselves to bed. Although, no guarantees that my mom won't ask you just what you plan on doing with your life, young lady! Still, sounds like a good deal to me. :)
pru - it is very cold - only surfers in full wetsuits and labradors go in this time of year
mish - home cooking! sounds like a good swap - trust me - nanners and noodles are more annoying than you think . . .
Winter is TOTALLY best time at the beach. Are both those shots facing north? I can't tell if the second one is or not.
la - yep - both facing North
goregous photos. the beach looks sooooo clean after a storm.
