Trust me on this one - if you're shopping for rose bushes, look for the Memorial Day rose - it has the sweetest scent of all my rose bushes.
Once again this year, I'll be participating in
Maggie’s Southern Reading Challenge. My books are:
Maggie’s Southern Reading Challenge. My books are:

Ooo sugared pecans are the most delicious things ever.
I look forward to hearing what you think of Thirteen Moons. I'm still picking my books. But there's no way I'd pass up a shot at those pecans! Yum!
What a beautiful rose, Memorial you say. I'm writing it down! :D
Thanks for joining the challegne and I look forward to those southern posts.
I've been lazy with reading lately! I really need to start up again!!
I have been attempting to get control of my "yard" which includes feeding the roses. Not really sure how far I will get.
I've never heard of a Memorial Day rose... do you think it will go in semi-shade?
That rose is beautiful--I'll look forward to your reviews.
Are you supposed to choose off that list of 125 books? I was surprised to see only one Pat Conroy selection.
I love the smell of roses. I just wish mine wouldn't grow so much and need so much trimming done!
I just love the smell of roses. They make me so happy.
Oh I was reading the comments on Edit's post the other day, and some lame-o called you out anonymously. I thought it was funny cause they didn't have the balls to identify themselves. I swear people are some odd.
