My brave little buckaroo . . .

While we were walking this morning Noodles was attacked by a Spitz out running around . . . and ended up with a bite on the back of her neck. Poor baby is kind of glum tonight. It doesn't seem to be deep, nor infected, but I'll keep an eye on her and take her to the Vet if she doesn't cheer up.

Oh I hate those mean dogs that attack your doggies. Why are they out without a lease? There oughta be a law. Wait...there IS a law.

Noodles is feeling better today - we ran into 2 of her doggie boyfriends this morning, and that always cheers her up!

ffleur - it must have just slipped out through the fence or gate - it had tags

kitty - I'm not sure this is a savage breed - I think it was more of a case of a dog getting out and going a little wild . . . she calmed down pretty quick and Nanners and Noodles and her reverted to sniffing each other until a big Rottie came along and then the spitz took after her . . . but was smart enough to chase her at a distance!

That blows. I got scared when Nikki took a run at some dog the other day, but that was her just trying to act tough. More often than not, it is some ditz walking a huge white dog (about 800 pounds) that lets it run after everybody.

Oh the poor baby. My Rottweiler is a big baby and minds her own business... but my little Mini-Pin is a terror and tries to go after any other dogs. I get so nervous with him.

Poor baby! That's terrible! I hope the owner of the spitz was appropriately mortified and keeps his/her dog on a leash next time!
