will it ever get cold enough where you live to wear it?
I like toques (yes, that is the Cdn word for your knitted cap)
ffleur - basically I'll be able wear it to walk the dogs in the morning, and for holiday parades at night!
toque - I like it!
I love knitted caps although it rarely gets cold enough to wear them here in Texas.
I wear my touque on the coldest days in the winter. Only problem: Hair static.
diane - Where is this pattern from? I might need to ask to borrow it.
ffleur - It totally gets cold enough. Plus, they are great if you're behind on getting your hair colored.
la - it is from one of my noro books (you guessed it- silk garden, one skein) I'll bring the pattern for you
