OMG, this set of pictures makes it look like it's about 115 below zero. Yet, you're smiling and your neck is uncovered, so I'm guessing it was warmer than it looked.

la - it wasn't as cold here as in other parts of the park!

flix - new springs surface pretty often and then they have to move the walkways

I wonder how hot the springs are? Must be incredible temps. To show how ignorant I am, I actually thought people dipped into the springs.

Once again, outstanding photos. The term "otherworldly" is spot on.

v - some you can if they are in a place where they mix with cool water - like the boiling river (see the post with all the bison along the river). the water comes out too hot, but then mixes with the frigid river water to a comfortable mix!
