How cool does this sound?
The last two years, I have taken vacations sponsored by the National Wildlife Federation . The first trip was to the Peruvian Amazon, and last year, was a trip to a bottlenose dolphin research facility in Belize. This year, I am hoping to go Wolf Watching in Yellowstone in February. Ever since my grandfather turned me on to Farley Mowat’s "Never Cry Wolf" , I have been fascinated by these creatures, and I think it would be a unique experience to see them in the wild.

It sounds very cool Diane! I would have loved to have gone to Beliz to see the dolpins.
Good for you. If you've never been, Yellowstone is beautiful.
I'll have to check out the wolf links you put up.
pixie - I took my 17 yr old niece with me - it was a very cool trip . ..
dan - I've only been there once - in 1972, and I would really like to go back. Farley Mowat writes a lot of great books for kids about animals . . . you might like some of them for your kids!
Farley Mowat is one cool cat. Cool vacations, Diane!
